Armenia interested in developing ties with Israel – minister

Yerevan, 12 February: Armenia is interested in developing cooperation
with Israel.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edvard Nalbandyan said this at a meeting
with the newly appointed Israeli ambassador [to Armenia] (with
residence in Jerusalem), Shemi Tzur, the Mediamax news agency has
quoted the Armenian Foreign Ministry press service as saying.

The minister expressed the hope that the Israeli diplomat would
contribute to the development of relations between the two countries.

At the meeting, the two men discussed the recent Israeli parliamentary
election, the situation in the Middle East, the Karabakh conflict
settlement and prospects of Armenian-Turkish relations.
