Belarusian, Armenian foreign ministers discuss EU’s new initiative

Minsk, 27 November: The Eastern Partnership policy offered by the EU
"leaves space for bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Belarus,"
Armenian Foreign Minister Edvard Nalbandyan has told journalists in
Minsk.

He said that Armenia positively assesses the European initiative and
both countries will discuss cooperation within the policy "more
specifically" as soon as the EU council officially adopts it.

Belarusian Foreign Minister Syarhey Martynaw said Belarus positively
views the Eastern Partnership. "The project’s authors largely take
into account our proposals at all stages of its development," he said.
