NEWLY-APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF KYRGYZ REPUBLIC PRESENTS HIS CREDENTIALS TO ARMENIAN PRESIDENT

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, NOYAN TAPAN. The newly-appointed Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Armenia
Raimkul Atakurov (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to
the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on November 10.

As NT was informed by the RA presidential press service, congratulating
the diplomat on assumption of his duties, S. Sargsyan expressed
satisfaction at active cooperation of the two countries in recent
years. In his words, in building their relations, Armenia and
Kyrgyzstan take into account the fact that both countries make part of
the same security system, are members of the CIS and the Collective
Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) which gives a special meaning to
their relations.

The Armenian president considered the work of the joint
intergovernmental commission to be an important factor for promotion
of bilateral economic links.

R. Atakurov stated that he will make every effort in order to
contribute to the deepening of the relations between two countries.
