ADDITIONAL FINANCING ENVISAGED FOR TAX AND CUSTOMS BODIES DEVELOPMEMT FUNDS

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, NOYAN TAPAN. A regular 4-day session of the RA
National Assembly started on November 10. There are 44 issues and 4
international agreements on the agenda. Among agenda issues are also
the draft law on the 2009 state budget of the RA and several bills
related to the above mentioned draft.

After approving the agenda, the parliament passed in the first reading
the package of the bills discussed during the previous 4-day session,
by which amendments and additions are envisaged in the Law on the Use
of Cash Registers, the Law on the Suspension of Activity of Users of
Cash Registers, and the Law on the Budgetary System of the RA. Based
on an amendment, it is envisaged, in particular, allocating 30% of the
fines imposed for violation of the rules of the use of cash registers
and the rules of calculations by using cash registers to the Fund for
Development of the System of Tax Bodies. By another amendment, the Fund
for Material Encouragement of the Customs System will aslo be formed
from administrative fines imposed for violation of the customs rules,
as well as from additional customs payments transferred to the state
budget as a result of ckeckups.
