/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The U.S. is holding presidential elections today,
November 4. Two candidates, Illinois Senator, Democrat Barack Obama
and Arizona Senator, Republican John McCain are running for the post.

The last set of polls before election day show Barack Obama leading
Arizona Sen. John McCain nationally by 7 points.

An average of recent polls gives Obama a 51 percent to 44 percent
lead over McCain. Obama is reported to have the votes of over 300
electors while McCain is supported by 181.

Barack Obama, the first African American presidential candidate in
U.S. history, is leading in 6 out of 8 battleground states.
