/PanARMENIAN.Net/ NATO will develop cooperation with Armenia in the
framework of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP), Jaroslaw
Skonieczka, director for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Partnership
in NATO’s International Staff, said during "2 Years of ENP: Progress,
Challenges and the Future" international conference today.

"Many doubted the efficiency of such cooperation, since they
thought it can be useful only if the country is an aspirant for the
Alliance. However, it’s quite different in case with Armenia. This
republic doesn’t intend to join NATO and it’s Russia’s strategic
partner," he said, adding that two years of IPAP implementation
proved that Armenia is willing to achieve the goals envisaged by the
Action Plan.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
