INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CHILDREN’S FILMS TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN OCTOBER 16-20

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS: The fourth international festival of
children’s films will be held in Yerevan October 16-20.
An official from Armenian Foundation of Film and TV Development from
"Rolan Bikov" for Armenian children and juniors told Armenpress
that the goal of the festival is to present to the young
audience high-quality professional films, as well as establish
contacts, ensure exchange of experience and thoughts with foreign
cinematographers. Within the frameworks of the program 48 films from
23 countries will be presented.
The festival will host a number of distinguished guests including
president of International Foundation of Film and TV Development from
"Rolan Bikov" for children and juniors, Armenian and Russian honored
art figure Armen Medvedev, film director, scenarist, producer,
general director of "Mosfilm" Karen Shahnazarov, pianist, honored
Russian art figure Levon Oganezov and other art figures.
The festival will have jury of full and animation films. As part of
the event exhibition of works of artists-animators will be organized,
an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Armenian multiplication,
and other interesting events will be held.
The festival will be held by "Rolan Bikov" Foundation with the support
of Armenian Culture Ministry and Yerevan municipality.
