RA NA SPEAKER TIGRAN TOROSIAN OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCES HIS RESIGNATION AND LEAVING RPA FACTION

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 19, NOYAN TAPAN. Tigran Torosian stated at the
special NA sitting convened on September 19 on RA government’s
initiative that he has put in an application on resigning the post
of parliament Speaker and is leaving the RPA faction.
It should be mentioned that according to the NA Regulations, in case
the resignation is again introduced immediately after the expiration of
the five-day term of application’s official publication, NA Speaker’s
resignation will be considered accepted.
Eight issues are on special sitting’s agenda, five out of which are
subject to voting, and NA adopted these issues in first reading.
The bill On General Agricultural Registration, as well as the bill On
Making Amendments and Addenda to the valid laws On State Government
Institutions and On Financial System Arbiter are among urgent issues
subject to discussion by the government.
