ArmInfo. The present power pyramid is not as solid as it was under
Robert Kocharyan’s rule, the first president of Armenia, the leader
of the opposition Levon Ter-Petrossyan said during a rally today.

There are obvious contradictions between Prime Minister Tigran
Sargsyan and his cabinet because Sargsyan is just a cover meant for the
international community. The behavior of the Armenian Revolutionary
Federation Dashnaktsutyun is one more proof of lack of unity in the
government coalition: the president invited his Turkish counterpart
while ARFD organized a protest action. If Sargsyan fails to expel
ARFD from the coalition he will once again prove his incompetence.

The replacement of the speaker of the parliament Tigran Torossyan
by Hovik Abrahamyan will finally turn the parliament into one of the
pillars of the bandocratic regime, Ter-Petrossyan said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
