PRESIDENT GUL OF TURKEY TO HOLD TALKS IN BAKU

Turkish President Abdullah Gul will be on a brief working visit
to Azerbaijan on Wednesday, the Turkish embassy to Azerbaijan told
Interfax.

The Turkish president is expected to arrive in Baku, where he will
have talks with Azeri President Ilkham Aliyev, on Wednesday afternoon
and leave on Wednesday night.

The parties are expected to discuss the results of the recent visit of
the Turkish president to Armenia, the initiative to create a Caucasus
Stability and Cooperation Platform, the situation in the region,
as well as the issue of ensuring the security of energy corridors.
