Diplomat: Armenia-Kazakhstan Contacts Actively Developing At All Lev

YEREVAN, September 5. /ARKA/. Contacts between Armenia and Kazakhstan
are actively developing at all levels, Charges d’Affaires of Armenia
in Kazakhstan Yerlan Kubashev told journalists in Yerevan. He pointed
out the visit of Armenian President to Astana in early July.

Close contacts are maintained between the countries owing
to cooperation in the scope of the Collective Security Treaty
Organization (CSTO). Kubashev stressed that important decisions on
intensification of bilateral cooperation and development of the CSTO
were made during the recent meeting of the Committee of CSTO security
council secretaries held n Yerevan.

Kazakhstani Embassy to Armenia is planning to carry out measures
to intensify cooperation, Kubashev said adding that a sitting of
Armenia-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation
is to be held soon.

Day of Constitution of Kazakhstan was celebrated in Armenia n
September 4.
