ARMENIAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES CSTO SECRETARY GENERAL

Armenian President Serzh Sargsian received today CSTO Secretary
General Nikolay Bordyuzha. At the regular session of the Council
of CSTO which will take place in September Armenia will assume the
chairmanship of the organization.
Presidential press service told Armenpress that during the meeting
the interlocutors discussed the prior directions of CSTO, the issues
the organization is facing and the ways of their solution.
They also referred to the work of the legislative bodies of CSTO and
noted that soon the sessions of the CSTO defense ministers’ council
and security secretaries’ council will be held in Armenia.
They also spoke about "Rubezh 2008" military exercises that will kick
off tomorrow.
