On June 24th NKR President Bako Sahakyan visited the distinguished teacher
Satenik Soghomonyan. With his teacher the President remembered the
past, exchanged opinions round today’s situation of the republic
and perspectives of development, simultaneously signifying the
role of a school in our republic’s life.Bako Sahakyan noted,
that such meeting would give his activity new energy. Minister of
NKR Culture and Youth Norek Gasparyan accompanied the head of the
country. — — — — On June 24th a conference took place at NKR
President Bako Sahakyan devoted to the problems of water supply of
Stepanakert. Hrayr Chirakyan, the representative of "Arch", company
was invited at the conference. He noted, that the company, according
to preliminary agreement, would have an active participation in the
work of improvement of Stepanakert’s water supply.
The head of the country attached importance to the confrontation
of efforts of a state and private business, considering it a
hopeful pledge of the problems’ solution. NKR Prime minister Ara
Harutyunyan and other officials participated in the conference. —
— — — On June 25th NKR President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree
about making changes in the stuff of Central Electoral Commission of
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic determined by a decree of June 7th,2007 of
NKR President. According to a decree, the commissions of the member
of Central Electoral Commission of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic were
stopped ahead of time. Boris Alaverdyan, the representative of NKR
President, was included in the stuff of Central Electoral Commission of
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. — — — — The same day the President
signed also a decree about appointing Norek Gasparyan the member of
the Council of Republican TVradio company. By another decree of the
President, Norek Gasparyan was relieved of the post of the minister of
NKR Culture and Youth, in connection with getting another job. —
— — — On June 24th NKR President Bako Sahakyan convened a
conference devoted to the questions connected with the arrangement of
marriage of some hundred couples foreseen in September,2008. Leaders of
interested bodies represented the President the process of preparatory
works of the arrangement. Bako Sahakyan gave assignments leaders of
corresponding bodies and signified the necessity of carrying out this
unprecedented arrangement at a high level, collaboration of interested
bodies and broad elucidation of the works. NKR Prime Minister Ara
Harutyunyan and other officials participated in the conference.
