TURKEY MEETING TO DISCUSS ‘ARCHITECTURAL DRAMA OF KARABAKH’

The Convention of Architecture and Town-planning in Turkic World
has begun in Ankara. The Convention had been organized through the
assistance of Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism, Ministry of
Construction and Town-planning, Association of Engineers and Architects
and organization of Turkic language states TURKSOY.

Delegations of Turkic language countries and communities are
participating in the Convention. According to the permanent
representative of Azerbaijan in TURKSOY Elchin Gafarli, Azerbaijan is
represented at the meeting by a mission led by the head of Cultural
Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture & Tourism Rizvan
Bayramov, which includes a group of Azerbaijani architects.

The Convention of architecture and town-planning will last 3 days till
26 June. Azerbaijani delegation will deliver a report ‘Architectural
Drama of Karabakh’.

It is the second Convention intended to inform the international
community of culture, architectural and town-planning work in the
Turkic world.
