New Armenian Central Bank Chairman To Be Announced Next Week

NEW ARMENIAN CENTRAL BANK CHAIRMAN TO BE ANNOUNCED NEXT WEEK

YEREVAN, June 5. /ARKA/. The new chairman of the Central Bank of
Armenia will be appointed next week, CBA Vice-Chairman Artur Javadyan
stated.

The post is vacant now. As far as I am informed, the appointment is
scheduled for next week, Javadyan said at a government briefing.

The post of the CBA Chairman has been vacant since April 9 when
Armenian President Serge Sargsyan appointed former chairman Tigran
Sargsyan to the post of the country prime minister.
