The president of Armenia Serge Sargsyan accused the customs services of
corruption and patronage. The press release of the Armenian government
holds that according to the president corruption and patronage are
prospering at the Customs Service which hinder the development of
economy and cause disappointment in those who get in touch with
this system.

During the meeting of the NKR government a few days before Prime
Minister Ara Harutiunyan accused of corruption the notorious commission
which grants certificates on disability. The prime minister said
everyone knows that through bribes people get certificate of disability
and a monthly benefit.

The commission was dissolved and the Center of Medical and Social
Expertise was set up.

But this is not the problem. The problem is that definite persons
and institutes are accused of crime at the top level but the law
enforcement agencies would not react to those statements. They
do not bring charges, inquire for facts from the persons who make
statements (like it is done in the case of the others). Moreover,
those who are accused do not react either. It appears that they admit
the accusations. They do not sue the people who in fact accuse them
of crime without any evidence, otherwise slander. They do not demand
compensation for the moral damage. It is taken for granted.

The impression is that these statements have nothing to do with
the reality.

That they are made in a parallel, virtual reality, while life continues
along its way.
