New Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is going to change the
style of the government’s work. Sargsyan is going to promote public
involvement in the government’s work, the Armenian governmental press
service said.

Governmental decisions should be discussed in public, people should
have the right to take part in working out and discussing drafts,
Sargsyan said.

We should secure feedback from public on adopted drafts, he said.

It is expected that draft programs will now be posted on the websites
of the Armenian government and ministries, so that the public can
study them.

The PM also demanded that live broadcasts of governmental meetings be
secured at the governmental conference hall for accredited journalists.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
