86 PEOPLE KEPT UNDER ARREST BASED ON CRIMINAL CASE OPENED IN CONNECTION WITH MARCH 1 EVENTS

YEREVAN, APRIL 10, NOYAN TAPAN. As of April 10, 86 people are kept
under preliminary arrest under the criminal case examined by the RA
Special Investigation Service in connection with organization and
instigation of mass disorder in Yerevan with the aim of usurping state
power in vilation of the constitutional order. According to a press
release of the press service of the RA prosecutor general’s office,
giving a written undertaking not to leave the place of residence
was chosen as a pretrial measure with respect to another 11 accused
persons. 16 criminal cases on 16 persons have been sent to court.
