ARMENIAN POLICE PROBES INTO ALLEGED REPORT OF THREAT

[Presenter] The Vagharshapat [Echmiatsin] police department has
received a report from Ara Marutyan that former Deputy Defence Minister
Manvel Grigoryan and his aide Zohrab Galstyan threatened to kill him
[Marutyan] and his family members on the same day [date not specified].
The press secretary of the prosecutor-general has said that the Police
Investigation Department launched a criminal case. An investigation
is under way; the circumstances mentioned in the report are being
clarified.
