Political coalition formed in Armenia
Republican Party of Armenia, Orinats Yerkir Party, Prosperous Armenia
Party, and ARF Dashnaktsutiun have signed an agreement on political
coalition, REGNUM correspondent has reported.
Prime minister of Armenia, president-elect Serzh Sargsyan has called
this `an unprecedented event, for, if before we spoke of merely
creating a coalition government, now we can speak of a full-fledged
political coalition.’
Sargsyan promised to perform substantial reforms in the country’s
public and political life, warning that for many they will be
painful.
