Estimating the adoption of the resolution regarding Nagorno Karabakh,
submitted to the UN General Assembly by Azerbaijan V. Oskanyan said:
" I estimate negatively the resolution submitted by Azerbaijan
to the UN. It was unnecessary, untimely, both as a process and as
a result. But I’m satisfied with the number of the countries that
didn’t support it. I estimate positively their decision.
The decision has no legal force and it is of consultative nature and
I don’t think it will have any consequence on the settlement process,
if this step taken by Azerbaijan is not aimed at misleading Azerbaijan
and all the others."
