Moscow Preparing To Host RA President-Elect Serge Sargsyan

RA President-elect, Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan received the Deputy
Foreign Minister of Russia, State Secretary Grigory Karasin. He
conveyed the warm greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin and
President-elect Dmitry Medvedev and noted that those in Moscow are
preparing for the visit of RA President-elect, Mr. Serge Sargsyan
to the Russian Federation and attach great importance to further
deepening of relations between the two countries, the expansion and
development of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting the interlocutors referred to the post-election
developments and the domestic political situation in Armenia. RA
President-elect, Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan underlined that for
the Armenian authorities the stability of the state and the security
of the people are above any other interests and the future actions
will also derive exceptionally from this standpoint and the rule of
law in the country.

Serge Sargsyan underlined the importance of the unification of the
society, creations of an atmosphere of tolerance and dialogue in the
country, once again stressing the willingness to start dialogue with
all those who are concerned about the future of our state and people.
