CIS SECRETARY SUPPORTS RAPID SOLUTION TO NAGORNO-KARABAKH PROBLEM

All CIS member states wish to see a rapid and peaceful solution to
the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev
said in Baku on Monday.

"All CIS countries are interested that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
be solved peacefully. This is our common problem, and I repeatedly
said that we should seek its most rapid solution," he said.

Lebedev said he intends to discuss cooperation in terms of the CIS
and hold consultations in connection with the upcoming CIS summit
during his two-day visit to Baku.
