Oil Product Prices Grew In Armenia On March 16

OIL PRODUCT PRICES GREW IN ARMENIA ON MARCH 16

ArmInfo. Retail prices of oil products grew by 2,5- 6,2% in Armenia
on March 16.

At filling stations "Super AI 98" gasoline grew in price from 400
AMD to 410 AMD per liter, "Premium AI 95" – from 370 AMD to 380 AMD,
"Regular AI 91" – from 340 AMD to 350 AMD. Diesel fuel grew in price
from 320 AMD to 340 AMD per liter.

Deputy Director of Flesh, the largest oil trading company in Armenia,
Mushegh Elchyan, told ArmInfo correspondent that the price increase
in Armenia was caused by the growth in international prices of oil
products. He noted that the world prices have been growing for two
months, and Armenia has no more possibility to resist this process.

Since the beginning of 2008 oil product prices have increased in
Armenia for the first time. Elchyan noted that the world price of
gasoline increased to $887 per ton, and diesel fuel – to $1012.
