ArmInfo. In all probability the government of Slovakia will submit
to the parliament the law on criminal responsibility for denial of
the Armenian genocide, director of Forum of Armenian Unions of Europe
Ashot Grigoryan said at the press-conference in Yerevan today.

He also added that the draft law supposes punishment, i.e. imprisonment
up to 5 years for denial of the Armenian genocide. The draft law
was presented by Justice Minister of Slovakia, which will officially
visit Armenia in May of the current year. Grigoryan also said that he
is going to organize the visit of Slovakia’s delegation to Nagornyy
Karabakh in June. Moreover, fulfillment of a big investment programme
has started in the NKR in February. ‘Slovakian companies will transfer
30-50 mln EUR credits. Armenian banks will also take an active part
in the programme. We shall start fulfilling our political programme
on the basis of economic activity.

Slovakia will become one of the best friends of Armenia in the European
Union’, – he said.
