MARTIN BERBERIANA AND RUSLAN BASIEV BECOME PRIZE WINNERS IN INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT OF FREE STYLE WRESTLING HELD IN KIEV

KIEV, FENRUARY 27, NOYAN TAPAN. An International Tournament of Free
Style Wrestling was held in Kiev on February 22-24. There were 9
sportsmen from Armenia among the delegates of 34 countries. Among the
Armenian sportsmen Martin Berberian (60 kg) took second, and Ruslan
Basiev (heavy weight) third place.
The team of Armenia will hold a teaching and training gathering in
Tsaghkadzor on March 1-12, after which they will take part in the
championship of Europe to start on April 1 in the city of Tampere
of Finland.
The champions will also receive passes for the olympic games.
