On February 25, the Department of Public Relations and Information
of the RA Police released a statement which runs.
"On February 23 the Police of the Republic of Armenia detained former
Deputy Prosecutor General Gagik Jhangirian. Jhangiryan is arrested.
Ex-minister of National Income Smbat Aivazyan detained on February 24
is also arrested. He is charged under Article 316.1 of the RA Penal
Code (Violence against representative of Government)."
