Feb 2 2008
In response to the statements of the government candidate that some
candidates make populist pledges of raising salaries and pensions
several hundred times, the presidential candidate Arthur Baghdasaryan
said February 2 he wonders how short-sighted some people can be. He
says he has never pledged to raise salaries hundred times. Arthur
Baghdasaryan says his program is realistic and all the pledges are
based on calculations.
The leader of the Orinats Yerkir Party stated if he is elected
president, army will become professional within five years, taxes
will be reduced to boost budget receipts, salaries and pensions will
be doubled, equal opportunities will be created.
