CENTER OF MILITARY NANOTECHNOLOGIES UNDER CONSTRUCTION ON MOSCOW REGION ON INITIATIVE OF ARA ABRAHAMIAN

YEREVAN, JANUARY 24, NOYAN TAPAN. On the initiative of the chairman
of the Union of Russians of Armenia (UAR) Ara Abrahamian, a center
of military nanotechnologies is being constructed with attracted
funds in the city of Zelenograd (Moscow region). Medical studies on
vital capacities of soldiers under extreme conditions will be done in
rooms of one of the floors of the 7-storey building of this center,
NT correspondent was informed by Vyacheslav Beklemishev, the director
general of the Zelenograd Institute of Applied Nanotechnologies.

According to him, the president of the RA Academy of Medical Sciences
Levon Mkrtchian will participate in these studies. L. Mkrtchain
has a considerable reserve of developments of nanosubstances for
enhancing human immunity. The joint work with him on development of
these technologies with the use of the potential, which was created
by Armenian scientists over 20-30 years, started in 2007.

V. Beklemichev said that Armenia will have intellectual and
technological input to the creation of this educational and
technological center to be built in the next three years. Armenian
specialists will have the opportunity to work at this center,
while students may do practical work there for getting educational
and scientific degrees. At the Zelenograd Center of Military
Nanotechnologies, nanotechnologies will be used for enhancing the
immunity of servicemen, creation of high-quality fatigue-dress,
and development of technologies for control of servicemen on the
battlefield. The number of Armenian experts will depend on the amount
of work to be done by them.

A. Abrahamian also plans to build 500 apartments for employees of
the center.
