Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made a report on energy security
and Azerbaijan’s role as one of the alternative energy sources in
the forum. He touched upon the issues on energy projects, as well as
Nabucco gas project planned to be carried out, Azerbaijan’s policy
pursued in the direction of integration into Europe, regional
cooperation and Nagorno Karabakh conflict. President noted that
solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict is important for stability and
comprehensive cooperation in the South Caucasus.
Azerbaijani President will participate in the seminars to be held
about peace and Russian’s relations with neighbor countries and he will
join "Russian night". He will meet several businessmen and officials,
as well as US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
