GOVERNMENT TRIES TO IMPROVE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting yesterday on issues of
business environment improvement.
Government information and public relations department informs that
several top ministers and tax and customs services heads participated
in the meeting.
The prime minister noted that the improvement of business and
investment environment is an important cornerstone of economic
reforms. He said any action taken to that end must be measurable.
Sargsyan also mentioned that the goal must be the following: "The
business and investment environment of Armenia must be up to the
level of 10 percent best countries with its indicators in 2012." He
said all the initiations and steps, all the suggestions and efforts
of the economic block ministries must be view from that standpoint.
