1,923 POLLING STATIONS TO BE FORMED IN TERRITORY OF ARMENIA FOR PURPOSE OF HOLDING PRRSIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

YEREVAN, JANUARY 9, NOYAN TAPAN. 1,923 polling stations will be formed
for the purpose of holding the elections of the president of the
Republic of Armenia on February 19, NT correspondent was informed by
the secretary of the Central Electoral Commission Abram Bakhchagulian.

To recap, as a result of the amendments made in the Electoral Code
in 2007, elections will be held only in the territory of Armenia. By
the way, there were also 1,923 polling stations during the 2007
parliamentary elections.
