CSTO TO ESTABLISH A COMMON SYSTEM FOR PREPARATION OF MILITARY CADRES

A discussion of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)
defense ministry experts will be held at CSTO combined headquarters
tomorrow. CSTO secretariat press services informed that professional
training of CSTO member states’ military educational establishment
graduates will be the topic of the discussion. According to the source,
the aim is to develop common approaches for the preparation of CSTO
member states military cadres. A list of legislative documents will
be prepared to that aim.
The agreement signed in June, 2005 on preparation of military cadres
creates considerable opportunities of CSTO member states. About one
thousand military servants study in only the educational establishments
of the Russian ministry of defense.
