"If everything was right at that time, why no one went out to the
streets to protect Levon Ter-Petrosyan in 1998. And, why in 1996 tens
of thousands of people went out to the streets and shouted "Levon Go
Away". Who brought these people out to the streets and who brought
tanks against them, because he lacked other methods to speak with them?
Moreover it was only after the rat race in the parliament that
pro-opposition activist Paruyr Hayrikyan proposed to invite him to
the parliament and ask why he made up his mind to resign. This is
a really eloquent testimony that Ter-Petrosyan used to be a very
unsuccessful President," Suren Zolyan believes.
