GREECE AND ARMENIA TO STUDY POSSIBILITIES FOR BILATERAL COOPERATION IN SPECIFIC SPHERES WITHIN FRAMES OF ARMENIA-EU ACTION PROGRAM

RA President Robert Kocharian held a meeting with Greece’s newly
appointed Ambassador to RA Ioannis Korintios. The Ambassador presented
his credentials to the state’s head.

According to the information DE FACTO received at the RA President’s
Press Office, congratulating the Ambassador on the new appointment
Robert Kocharian had wished him success in his high mission.

Expressing satisfaction with the level of Armenian-Greek political
dialogue, Armenia’s President noted relations established between the
two countries had been dynamically developing. The state’s President
recalled Greek President’s official visit to Armenia with warmth.

Robert Kocharian expressed his gratitude to the Greek party for its
technical assistance especially in the spheres of tourism, defense
and agriculture.

In the course of the meeting the interlocutors mentioned the importance
of studying the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the specific
spheres within the frames of Armenia-EU Action Program.
