/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The forthcoming meeting of the Presidents of
Azerbaijan and France, Ilham Aliyev and Nicolas Sarkozy, is important
for exchange of opinions both on bilateral cooperation and regional
issues, said Novruz Mammadov, head of the International Relations
Department at the Azerbaijani President’s Administration. He was
commenting on the Azerbaijani President’s upcoming visit to France
on 19-20 November.

"Azerbaijan and France enjoy good relations and a dialogue should be
held to continue cooperation," Mammadov said. "On the other hand, it
is also important for Sarkozy to meet with the Azerbaijani President
to get closely familiar with regional issues and know the Azerbaijani
President’s position on "hot points." The meeting will focus on the
resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, he added.

It is not planned to sign any document on bilateral cooperation,
because the visit is of working character. At the beginning of the
year the Azerbaijani President was in France on a formal visit and
signed several bilateral documents, he said, Trend news agency reports

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
