Azerbaijan, Baku / TrendCapital corr E.Mammadov / The first bus
functioning via the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku route running through the
territory of Iran started from Nakhchivan on 8 November, Zakir Guliyev,
the General Director of Avtonagliyyat state company, said. One bus
will function in this route a day.

The buses will run via Iran, as the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic
(NAR) is in Armenian blockade and the air transport is only
communication with the rest part of the country.

The route will be opened on the basis of a memorandum signed between
Azerbaijan and Iran. Buses will depart from Baku international and
interurban bus stations. One ticket will cost AZN 14.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
