on Political Rights of Women.

by 2006 January 120 nations have joined it. He said the ratification
is stipulated also by Armenia’s national plan of actions designed to

the principle of men and women equality as it is spelled out in the
UN Declaration of Basic Human Rights.

Larisa Alaverdian from the opposition Heritage party said the
parliament should pass a set of relating laws to be able to materialize
the Convention’s provisions, apart from extra financial means.

The deputy minister said the financial mans are envisaged by the
national plan of actions for 2004-2010. The lawmakers are expected
to ratify the Convention tomorrow.
