PRESIDENT OF THE EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS TO VISIT ARMENIA

Mr. Jean-Paul Costa, the President of the European Court of Human
Rights, will visit Armenia October 4-7, Press Secretary of RA Court
of Cassation Alina Yengoyan told Armenpress.
In Armenia Mr. Costa will participate in the 12th annual international
conference on the "International experience of cooperation between
the Constitutional Court and the Ombudsman in the field of human
rights protection" to be held in Yerevan October 4-6.
All the materials of the scientific forum will be published in the
"Constitutional Justice in the New Millennium" international almanac
The former President of the European Court of Human Rights visited
Armenia twice.
In the second half of October Bostjan Zupancic, President of the
Section 3 of the Court will arrive in Armenia. Section 3 is where
Armenian Judge Alvina Gyulumyan is included, and where the cases from
Armenia are considered.
