The first day of the world tournament of wrestling was not successful
for the Armenian wrestlers. On September 17 only Armen Adikyan,
66 kg, had the best result who lost the fight with the Bulgarian
Nicolay Gergov for the third place.
Meanwhile, the police of Baku arrested notorious Akif Nagi, the chair
of the Organization for the Liberation of Karabakh and his supporters
to prevent anti-Armenian protests.
