Rudolf Perina, U.S. Charge d’Affaires, a.i., told Armenian reporters
on September 13 he hopes the appointment of the U.S. ambassador to
Armenia has not been forgotten. He said we will have an ambassador but
he does not know when the U.S. president will nominate ambassador,
Regnum reported. Rudolf Perina reminded that the U.S. president
nominates ambassador, and the Senate affirms the nomination, as well
as the nomination of Richard Hoagland which the Senate rejected.
