SURPRISES TO COME DURING ANDY’S CONCERT

There will be surprises on August 27, 28 and 29 during the concert of
American Armenian singer Andy with the participation of Armenian pop
stars, Yeghishe Petrosyan, musician of `Ardzaganq’ band, informed
during a news conference today.

In his words, the solo concerts of Andy will be international since
the singer’s fans from different countries have already ordered
tickets.

Speaking about his family, Andy said he was born in Iran. He has been
playing and singing since he was a little child with his 6 sisters and
a brother. `I have loved rock music since I was little. We were trying
to find and listen to `Deep Purple’ and `Led Zeppeline’ rock groups,’
he said expressing sorrow that the music has `regress’ throughout the
world connected with the use of new technologies in music.

This is the third time Andy has been to Armenia. In his words,
although he started with Iranian music, Iran audience feels that in
his music there is Armenian spirit and breath. The singer has released

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
