12.1% ECONOMIC GROWTH RECORDED IN ARMENIA IN JAN-JUNE 2007

YEREVAN, August 21. /ARKA/. National Statistical Service of Armenia
says 12.1% economic growth was recorded in the country in Jan-June
2007, compared with the same period a year earlier.

According to the statistical report, GDP amounted to AMD 1287.363bln.

July’s GDP has outdone that of previous month by 38.4%.

In Jan-June 2006, 11.6% economic growth was recorded.

11-percent economic growth was planned in the 2007 state budget. ($1 –
AMD 336.84).
