RAFFI’S NOMINATION AROUSED HOPE

The members of the Heritage Party’s parliamentary delegation stated
July 11 at the Hayatsk Club the election campaign has not started at
electoral district 15 yet but already administrative levers are used
for the candidate put up by the government. The representatives of the
Republican Party and Bargavach Hayastan Party and the leader of the
Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian are running from this district. The
political secretary of the Heritage Party Vardan Khachatryan said the
mayors and directors of schools of the villages of this district have
already received instructions.

Raffi Hovannisian’s nomination aroused hope and expectations in people.
"People have an alternative candidate. Formerly the government and
the government competed, now the government and the opposition
compete. Vardan Khachatryan is hopeful that their work will be
effective, and will bring them victory. The Heritage Party expects
support of other opposition forces."
