Prices For Non-Food Products Grow By 0.2% In 2007 June In Armenia

PRICES FOR NON-FOOD PRODUCTS GROW BY 0.2% IN 2007 JUNE IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, JULY 10, NOYAN TAPAN. The 0.2% growth in prices registered
on the non-food products market of Armenia in June 2007, as compared
with May, was mainly conditioned by the 2.8% and 0.3% growth in prices
for petrol and diesel fuel, respectively.

According to the data of the RA National Statistical Service, a
0.2-1.3% growth in prices was registered in the commodity groups of
textile goods, furniture, kitchen utensils, gardening goods in June
2007, as compared with May, in Armenia. A 1.4-0.1% fall in prices
was registered in the commodity groups of cultural goods, footwear,
consumer electronics, fuel, building materials, washing means, jewelry,
cosmetic goods, clothes, and fabric in the above mentioned period,
and in other commodity groups under review the level of prices was
kept unchanged, as compared with the previous month.
