OSCE INSPECTION OF ARMENIAN-AZERBAIJANI FRONTLINE COMPLETED WITHOUT INCIDENT

conducted on the line of contact of the troops near the Hindarkh-Agdam
highway on 28 June in compliance with a mandate of the special
representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office was completed without
incident, Trend Regional Correspondent reports.
Miroslav Vimetal and Imre Palatinus, field assistants of the OSCE
Chairman-in-Office’s special envoy, Andrzej Kasprzyk, were in charge
of monitoring the Azerbaijani side of the frontline.
Peter Key and Jaslan Nurtazin, field assistants to the OSCE
Chairman-in-Office’s special envoy, carried out monitoring of the
Armenian side of the frontline in the territory internationally
recognized as Azerbaijani territory.
Before the inspection, the OSCE representatives met with the Head
of Agdam Executive Power, Hasan Sariyev. During the meeting, Sariyev
informed the envoy of arson committed by the Armenian Armed Forces in
occupied Azerbaijani lands and the problems that emerged as a result.
Agdam is located in 380 km south-west of Baku.
