Armenian Grand Master Rafael Vahanyan played a draw with Russian Grand
Master Andrey Sokolov in the 7th round of the `Royal’ International
Chess Tournament held in the Romanian city of Bazna. He currently
occupies the second position with 4.5 points. The leader of the
tournament is Alexander Khalifman of Russia, who has gained 5 points
from 6 possible. Hungarian chess players Zoltan Ribley and Layosh
Portish share the 3rd and 4th places with 3.5 points.
