Yerevan, 19 June: There are no problems between Armenia and the
USA in connection with the strengthening of the relations between
Yerevan and Tehran. Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan said
this to journalists today commenting on the latest statement of US
charge d’affaires in Armenia Anthony Godfrey about the US concern in
connection with the strengthening of the Armenian-Iranian relations.

Oskanyan said that Armenia has good and transparent relations with
all countries, especially the neighbouring ones, and there are no
reasons to worry. At the same time, the minister noted that he did
not know exactly in what context the statement of Godfrey was made.

"Dialogue has been established between Armenia and USA on all issues,
political economic and defence. All issues are discussed exactly
within this framework," Oskanyan stated, categorically denying again
an assumption about tension in the relations of Yerevan and Washington.
