ROUND TABLE HELD ON WORLD DAY OF REFUGEES

A round table was organized on June 13 dedicated to the World
Day of Refugees. The round table was titled "Refugees in Armenia:
today and yesterday." Peter Nicolas, ex-representative of UNHCR
in Armenia was warmly greeted together with his follower, Bushra
Halepotan. Ms. Halepotan noted that UNHCR will continue its strategy
and will focus more on refugee integration. Armine Karakhanyan, UNHCR
legal expert, introduced to the acting legislation on refugees. She
said this legislation needs changes and invited NGOs to actively
participate.
