MATTHEW BRYZA: AZERBAIJANI AND ARMENIAN PRESIDENTS ARE CLOSE TO REMOVE DIFFERENCES

Yesterday Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian
Affairs, OSCE Minsk Group US Co-chair Matthew J. Bryza met with
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar
Mammadyarov, Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev and Industry
and Energy Minister Natig Aliyev in Baku, Mr.Bryza told the APA.

All the spectra of bilateral relations, including energy issues were
debated at the meetings. Mr.Bryza stressing that Nabucco project was
on focus publicized that they debated US cooperation with Azerbaijan,
Georgia, Turkey and Greece in this field. The US Co-chair touching
on the solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict stated that Azerbaijani
and Armenian Presidents are very close solve most remaining obstacles
to an agreement on basic principles.

"The remaining differences can be entirely removed. It is possible,"
he said.
